I bought it for my little nephew. It’s a simple toy but he likes to play with it. It’s very well finished for a wooden toy. I suggested that they can spray paint it in camouflage colors to have more fun. Package arrived on time.

This all wood car is solidly built and pretty well sanded and finished. Everything is smooth and pleasant. The wheels are aligned correctly and roll smoothly. The wood is unfinished (unlike some other brands) so this gives you and your child the opportunity to paint it to suit you creative taste. This has a special charm to it with just enough detail to look right and yet remain simple in essence. This is likely to take all the abuse you can give it over years (and generations) of play and still remain functional. An heirloom that will show it’s patina of history in the years to come.

It caught the attention of my little kids (ASD) immediately (like an elephant walking up your driveway) and maybe because it doesn't shout at them with colors or sounds (not that they dislike that). It seemed odd that a toy could be plain. The plain plane! It's smooth wood, has some heft to it but not too much. The wheels and front propeller turn if you manually turn them. Basically the kiddo (or you) do the work (roll it, fly it, make sounds to go with it). Yes, it can be painted, or markers used or stickers added. We're deciding how the design will go first. In the meantime, we'll enjoy the old-fashioned fun! Recommend this!
